Sony has confirmed November's PlayStation Plus monthly games, and it is a particularly varied selection. There's a zombie-slaying action RPG, three classic Lara Croft adventures and a tough deckbuilding game built around a train travelling through Hell.

The games are Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered and Monster Train 2. They become claimable on Tuesday, November 3, and remain in the monthly selection through Monday, November 30. Indian PlayStation users have the same announced dates, although the exact Store unlock hour can vary by region.

The November 2026 PlayStation Plus lineup

Dead Island 2 is available on PS4 and PS5. Set in a zombie-infested Los Angeles, it mixes story missions, weapon crafting and deliberately over-the-top close combat. The big selling point for a group of friends is three-player online co-op, although online multiplayer needs an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered also supports PS4 and PS5. It collects The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness. Players can switch between the original polygonal character models and refreshed visuals. This is a collection of older adventures, not a new Lara Croft story or a remake of the entire franchise.

Monster Train 2 is PS5-only. It is a single-player roguelite that mixes card choices with positioning units across three floors of a moving train. There are five clans, changing enemy encounters and enough decisions to make a failed run part of learning the game rather than simply losing progress.

How to claim the games in India

You need an active PlayStation Plus membership. The monthly games benefit is offered on Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers, so you do not need to move to a more expensive plan simply to claim these titles.

From November 3, open the PlayStation Plus section on your PS4, PS5 or the PlayStation Store, find the Monthly Games collection and add each title to your library. You can claim a PS4 game even if you're currently using a PS5. A PS5-only game, however, cannot be played on a PS4.

Adding a monthly game to your library is not the same as purchasing a permanent licence. You can return to the claimed game while your PlayStation Plus membership remains active; access is normally suspended when the subscription ends and restored if you renew. You also need to claim before November 30. Simply seeing a game listed does not reserve it for later.

There is one more distinction worth making. A Monthly Games selection is not the same as the rotating Game Catalog included with Extra and higher tiers. The two lists have different rules. This announcement concerns the three monthly games only.

October games leave on November 2

If you have PlayStation Plus today, there's something to do before the November drop. October's monthly titles, F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, are available to claim only through Monday, November 2.

You do not have to download them immediately. Adding eligible monthly games to your library during the claim window is what matters. If you've been postponing the October selection because you are short on console storage, that should not stop you from claiming it in time.

Which game should you start with?

Dead Island 2 is the obvious pick if you want something to play with friends. Its combat is messy and playful, and the co-op option gives it value beyond a single campaign run. It's also available on both generations of PlayStation hardware.

Tomb Raider is the history lesson. Three games in one download may appeal to players curious about the series before its modern reinventions. Just expect older level design and a different rhythm from today's cinematic action games.

Monster Train 2 is the surprise of the lineup. It is less immediately recognisable than the other two but could be the game that lasts longest for people who enjoy experimenting with strategies, builds and repeat runs. On the downside, PS4 owners cannot play it.

There is no need to rush into a paid upgrade or purchase the games separately. Claim what you want between November 3 and November 30, keep your subscription active to play, and check the Indian PlayStation Store before assuming any separate DLC or Ultimate Edition extras are included.
