By the time Nongshim RedForce reached the final Miramar match, the BMIC 2026 title was almost settled. They won that game anyway. 11 eliminations, another Chicken Dinner and 21 more points made their winning margin impossible to ignore: 233 points, 82 clear of the nearest challenger.
The three-day BGMI International Cup ended in Mumbai on November 1 with South Korea occupying every podium position. Kiwoom KRX finished second on 151, Dplus KIA took third on 149, and India’s Gladiators Esports ended fourth on 144. Six teams represented India, but none secured an additional PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2026 place from this event. That does not mean India will be absent from PMGC. Team SouL had already qualified through BMSD 2026.
South Korea take the podium, but Nongshim are in another league
Nongshim led after all three days. They began with 72 points, grew to 128 after Match 12 and then scored a remarkable 105 points across the six games on Sunday. Their final record reads five Chicken Dinners, 148 eliminations and 85 placement points in 18 matches. That is an average of almost 13 points per game, against KRX’s 8.4.
It was not just a string of lucky final circles. Nongshim had 49 more eliminations than KRX, the next-highest elimination total, and their 148 finish points alone would have been enough to place fourth in the full leaderboard. Their 28-point win in Match 12, built on 18 eliminations on Miramar, was the highest-scoring individual game of the tournament.
BMIC 2026 top four: points breakdown
| Rank | Team | WWCD | Elims | Placement | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5 | 148 | 85 | 233 | |
| 2 | 2 | 99 | 52 | 151 | |
| 3 | 3 | 88 | 61 | 149 | |

KRX return to PMGC, Dplus miss the runner-up slot by two points
The champion was clear, but the second PMGC ticket was still in play going into the final match. KRX entered Match 18 on 145 points, Gladiators were on 142 and Dplus on 141. Four points separated three teams with only one Miramar game remaining.
KRX had rescued their position with a 24-point Chicken Dinner in Match 16 on Erangel, including 14 eliminations. Gladiators then won Match 17, jumping to third and within three points of KRX. In the decider, KRX scored six, Dplus eight and Gladiators two. KRX kept second with 151; Dplus climbed to 149; Gladiators slipped to fourth at 144.
For KRX, that is an impressive return after winning BMIC 2025 with a different roster. For Dplus, three Chicken Dinners and 149 points still were not enough. The difference between a PMGC Group Stage berth and third place was two points over 18 matches.

HyunBin and Soez are BMIC champions for the second year running
Perhaps the best story within Nongshim’s win concerns two players who were on the other side of this rivalry last year. HyunBin and Soez won BMIC 2025 wearing KRX colours. HyunBin was also named that tournament’s MVP by KRAFTON India. Both moved to Nongshim for 2026, and both have now become back-to-back BMIC champions across two organisations.
KRX, meanwhile, have not disappeared. They rebuilt around returning leader QX, with BINI, Hoxy and TRE in their 2026 core, and still finished runners-up. Former KRX champion Cyxae was on the Dplus KIA roster this year too. Put differently, the 2025 KRX winners were spread across all three Korean teams on the 2026 podium. The organisations changed; the Korean experience at the front did not.

BMIC 2026 full and final points table
All 16 teams played 18 matches from October 30 to November 1. Placement plus elimination points produce the overall total; WWCD counts Chicken Dinners. The figures below match the completed 18-game scoreboard.

Every BMIC 2026 Chicken Dinner: all 18 matches
The win count also shows how the three countries divided the lobby. Korean teams won 10 of the 18 matches, Indian teams won seven and Japan took one. Nongshim alone won five. Yet Gladiators’ three wins did not become a PMGC berth, proof that consistency between victories mattered as much as the victories themselves.

The defining run came after the halfway point. Nongshim closed Day 2 with that 28-point Miramar win, opened Day 3 by collecting 22 points even while Outrage took the Chicken Dinner, and won Match 14 with 24. They did not need to win every game to control the tournament; sometimes they scored more than the team that did.
India produced its sharpest late challenge through Gladiators, who took 23 points in Match 15 and 17 more in Match 17. The two wins made the runner-up race genuinely tense. KRX’s 24-point Match 16 response, however, gave them just enough room to survive the final game.
India’s six teams: Gladiators come close, but SouL struggle
Gladiators were the best-performing Indian roster, finishing fourth with three Chicken Dinners, 98 eliminations and 144 points. Their 65 points on Day 3 brought them within seven points of KRX and a PMGC berth. Outrage, who spent much of the event as India’s leading side and won Matches 2 and 13, eventually finished fifth with 125. K9 took two Chicken Dinners and came sixth on 116.
Below them, 8Bit finished ninth with 93 points and Blitz x Epigrotive tenth on 89. SouL ended twelfth with 87. All six Indian sides combined won seven Chicken Dinners, but the medal positions and both BMIC PMGC berths went to South Korea.

Why did Team SouL finish 12th despite winning BMSD?
SouL came into Mumbai with a direct PMGC place already secured, and the form of domestic champions. Two weeks earlier they won the BMSD 2026 finals with 155 points, 103 eliminations and two Chicken Dinners in 18 games. At BMIC, over the same number of matches, they collected 87 points, 69 eliminations and no wins.
The most revealing number is not their overall finish. It is their placement score. SouL earned only three placement points across the first six BMIC matches. They improved to 17 after Day 2, but added just one more placement point across the final six games. Their last-day haul was 15 points overall, with 14 eliminations. That pattern suggests the team could still find fights, but failed to turn enough of them into deep, high-scoring finishes.
It would be too simplistic to blame a single player, a drop location or a tactical call without match-by-match team communications. The scoreboard is enough to explain the result: in an international lobby where Nongshim collected 85 placement points, SouL collected 18. Their elimination total also fell by 34 compared with BMSD. Both survival and firepower slipped, though the standard of opposition was different.
Who is going to PMGC 2026 after BMIC?
The BMIC 2026 results decide two specific championship routes: Nongshim RedForce, as winners, take the BMIC Gauntlet-stage entitlement; Kiwoom KRX, as runners-up, take the BMIC Group Stage entitlement. SouL remain PMGC-qualified through the separate BMSD 2026 route, despite finishing 12th here.
PMGC 2026 routes established by BMIC and BMSD
| Team | Route | PMGC stage | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nongshim RedForce | BMIC 2026 champions | Gauntlet | BMIC berth confirmed |
| Kiwoom KRX | BMIC 2026 runners-up | Group Stage | BMIC berth confirmed |
| Team SouL | BMSD 2026 champions | Gauntlet | Already qualified before BMIC |
Nongshim were also reported as already holding Korean regional qualification before BMIC, so any adjustment to their earlier regional allocation needs a confirmed organiser ruling. The final standings alone do not establish an extra BMIC invitation for Dplus KIA or Gladiators. For now, neither can be described as a BMIC qualifier.
What the result says ahead of PMGC
In 2025, KRX won BMIC in Delhi and India’s True Rippers finished second. In 2026, the entire top three belonged to South Korea. Nongshim were not merely a little better; their 82-point winning margin left the rest of the podium fighting one another rather than catching the champions.
India can still look to SouL at PMGC, and Gladiators came painfully close to sending another team. But Mumbai exposed the gap between producing standout matches and building an entire 18-game tournament. Nongshim managed both. That is why they leave with the trophy, ₹30 lakh and the strongest result this event has produced in two editions.
